Dynamic Strength & Conditioning

This program is great for anyone who’s either completed our 4, 8, or 12 Week Online MTB, Moto, or Action Sports Training, as well as a great program individually on it’s own. We also suggest completing this program prior to start of season and/or during the season for maintenance or even a boost in your fitness! A great program for those who want to add some functional strength and conditioning training.

Recommended fitness level: Intermediate/advanced.

Weekly commitment:

  • (1) Stretching routine (approximately 15 – 20 minutes each).
  • (2) Strength workouts (approximately 45 minutes each).
  • (2) Cardiovascular workouts (approximately 20 – 30 minutes each).

Equipment requirements:

Strength workouts:

  • Dumbbells (10 – 40 lbs; depending on your ability levels).
  • Resistance band (medium/high).

Cardiovascular workouts:

  • Mountain bike.
  • Rowing machine (optional).
  • Stationary bike (optional).

Duration:

  • 4 weeks (8 weeks access).

Kettlebell Strength 1

This program is great for anyone who’s either completed our 4, 8, or 12 Week Online MTB, Moto, or Action Sports Training, as well as a great program individually on it’s own. We also suggest completing this program if you’ve wanted to change things up from your traditional barbell and dumbbell strength training, and primarily train with kettlebells. A great program for those who get their cardiovascular training through mountain biking, ski touring, hiking, running, etc., but want to add some functional strength training.

Recommended fitness level:

  • Intermediate/advanced.

Weekly commitment:

  • (3) Stretching sessions (approximately 15 – 20 minutes each).
  • (3) Strength workouts (approximately 45 minutes each).

Equipment requirements:

  • Kettlebells (8– 50 lbs; depending on your ability levels / can substitute with dumbbells).
  • Resistance band (medium).

Duration:

  • 4 weeks (8 weeks access).

Kettlebell Strength 2

This program is not only a great follow-up to our 4, 8, or 12 Week Online MTB, Moto, or Action Sports Training, but also a great program on it’s own. We suggest completing this program for 4 – 8 weeks either in the off-season or on-season, especially if you’re looking to change things up from traditional barbell and dumbbell strength training. A great program for those who get their cardiovascular training through mountain biking, ski touring, hiking, running, etc., but want to add some functional strength training. Also a great program for those who want to progress from our ‘Kettlebell Strength 1’, or have done some form of kettlebell training prior.

Recommended fitness level:

  • Intermediate/advanced.

Weekly commitment:

  • (5) Strength workouts (approximately 45 minutes each).
  • (5) Stretching sessions (approximately 15 – 20 minutes each).

Equipment requirements:

  • Kettlebells (8– 50 lbs; depending on your ability levels / can substitute with dumbbells).

Body Weight Strength & Mobility 1

This program is great for anyone looking for a strength and mobility routine they can complete without the gym or equipment. This program is also great for on-the-road training, as well as pre-activity/pre-race warm-up.

Recommended fitness level:

  • All levels

Weekly commitment:

  • (3) Strength & Mobility workouts (approximately 30 minutes each).
  • (1) Stretching routine (approximately 15 – 20 minutes each).

Masters (+40) MTB Training

This program focuses on recreational and competitive +40 MTB (downhill and enduro/trail) enthusiast looking for increased strength, mobility/flexibility, and cardiovascular training, including the correct/adjusted volume of training and recovery.  “This is the training I developed for myself and my mountain bike, moto, and multi-sport friends, all who are in their 40’s – 60’s, and looking to continue being active/healthy for years to come.” -Todd Schumlick (PerformX owner)
